The CoMPaSS-NMD project is reaching a major milestone in its Young Investigator Training (YIT) initiative. On April 21, 2026, we will host our fifth and final webinar: “The CoMPaSS-NMD ATLAS: A New Tool for Clinicians and Researchers.”
Neuromuscular diseases (NMDs) are often rare and heterogeneous, with similar phenotypes hiding different underlying mechanisms. The CoMPaSS-NMD Atlas addresses this by linking multimodal evidence—clinical, imaging, histological, and genetic—into a structured environment that supports systematic interpretation and patient stratification.
Meet the Trainer We are pleased to welcome Riccardo Corrias, a software engineer at Fincons Group, who has been a primary developer of the Atlas platform. Riccardo will lead a live demonstration showing how the platform facilitates secure data collection and organization to support better research and care.
Key Learning Objectives:
-
Understand the pseudonymization process that ensures no personal data is stored in the Atlas.
-
Learn to use Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage data securely.
-
Master Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) filtering to identify relevant subsets of patients.
Don’t miss this opportunity to stay ahead of the curve in NMD research.
