This week marks a major milestone in the evolution of the CoMPaSS-NMD project. On Thursday, April 16th, and Friday, April 17th, our consortium will host two critical workshops to present the ATLAS Platform to our international Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) for its first external expert evaluation.
Until now, the ATLAS has undergone rigorous internal testing and validation by the clinicians within the CoMPaSS-NMD consortium. This week’s sessions represent a vital step toward ensuring the platform meets the highest global standards for technical excellence and ethical integrity.
The Workshop Agenda
-
April 16 | Technical & Usability (14:00 – 15:30 CEST): Led by partners FINCONS, UNIMORE, and DEEP BLUE, this session focuses on the technical architecture, user experience (UX), and clinical acceptability of the platform.
-
April 17 | Legal & Ethical Governance (10:30 – 12:00 CEST): Led by TECNALIA and DEEP BLUE, this workshop dives into the complex ethical and legal frameworks that ensure the ATLAS remains a secure, GDPR-compliant environment for sensitive medical data.
A World-Class Panel of Experts
We are privileged to welcome our SAB members, whose diverse expertise will shape the future of the platform: Pilar Nicolas, Jacqui Van Rens, Mintoi Chessa-Florea, Marek Kimmel, Gisele Bonne, Jacques Beckmann, and Egil Bakkeheim.
What’s next? The insights gained from these sessions will lead directly into our next public milestone: the Young Investigator Training (YIT) webinar on April 21st. Join us to see a live demo of the validated ATLAS platform!
